Change is the only constant in life – and education is no exception. The CBSE has announced major changes to the Class 10 and 12 board exam pattern for 2025, focusing on concept clarity, analytical thinking, and competency-based learning. As a coaching institute, we believe students and parents must understand these updates early to prepare effectively.
“If you aim for the stars, you’ll at least land on the moon.” Let’s aim for 100% – because even if you fall, you’ll land far above average.
This CBSE change is not a challenge – it’s an opportunity to learn better, understand deeper, and succeed smarter. With our expert faculty, board-specific training, and a supportive learning environment, we’re here to ensure you adapt and excel.
ANS – CBSE has aligned its Class 10 and 12 board exams with NEP 2020, emphasizing competency-based, application‑driven evaluation rather than rote memorization. Exams now test how well students apply concepts in real-world situations.
ANS – 1. Class 12: The percentage of competency-based questions has increased from 40% to 50%.
2.Class 10: Already at 50%, it remains the same
ANS – These are questions that assess real-world application:
MCQs, case-based problems, source-integrated passages
Designed to test analysis, reasoning, and concept clarity—not just memory.
ANS – CBSE now assigns 40% of the final marks to internal assessment, up from approx. 20% previously.
This includes periodic tests, projects, assignments, presentations, and classroom activities.
The remaining 60% comes from the board exam itself.
